Timber Harvesting Services

Timber harvesting plays a crucial role in maintaining the health and sustainability of forests. By selectively removing trees, we reduce overcrowding, which allows the remaining trees to access more sunlight, nutrients, and water, promoting stronger and healthier growth.

Properly managed harvesting also creates diverse habitats that support a wide range of wildlife, enhancing biodiversity. Additionally, it helps prevent the spread of diseases and pests by removing affected trees and improving overall forest resilience. Through responsible timber harvesting, we can ensure that forests continue to thrive and provide valuable resources for future generations.

Types of Harvesting

Clearcutting

We remove all timber in the designated section of your property. While we prefer not to clear-cut to promote natural habitat growth, we respect and adhere to the specific needs and wants of our clients.

Thinning

This method involves removing a percentage of standing timber, leaving some trees for future harvests. It reduces competition and promotes the growth of healthier, more robust trees.
